American Express has launched Credit Intel the company’s new, digital financial education center that provides expert advice and insights on personal finance.
Managing your credit and finances can be challenging, which is why American Express wants to be a trustworthy resource on the financial topics that matter most to consumers, like credit, cards, money management and planning for life’s biggest milestones.
“We want to empower people to effectively manage their finances and thrive,” said Sara Milsten, Senior Vice President, New Member Acquisition, U.S. Consumer Services at American Express. “That’s why we launched ‘Credit Intel’ to provide clear, credible advice on the most common financial questions consumers ask every day. This is just another way American Express has your back.”
Consumers can discover articles on Credit Intel’s main page, which hosts a curated selection of articles across four main topics, which include:
- Credit – articles on building credit, improving your credit score, and understanding your credit report.
- Cards – articles on different types of credit cards, credit card features, and comparing benefits and loyalty rewards.
- Life – articles on financial planning for life’s milestones, like moving, buying a home, college, marriage and retirement.
- Money – articles on money management and saving, budgeting for travel, and maximizing your financial resources.
Visitors can also search for more specific insights by easily navigating to each of the main category pages. For example, those interested in learning more about credit may view all articles in the Credit section, or read articles in specific subcategories, including Credit 101, Building Credit, and Credit Scoring & Reporting.
American Express works closely with a slate of established freelance authors and consultants who specialize in creating educational content around financial services, business and technology. At launch, Credit Intel will cover more than 100 topics with more articles and interactive content being added over time.
